Above is the water color painting I did out of my set of ten that I think was the most successful. I think it worked because I didnt try to control the flow of the various colors to represent the sunset, I just let them flow was naturally as they would if they were in nature. In the future though I could paint the sun first or leave an open area for it so cut down on the over colors of the sky fading into it.
