Repeated subject

The above painting wee from a set done previously where we had to pu=ick a single subject and recreate it 10 times in whatever kinds of media or varying techniques to make each look different. My subject was a painted blue brick. The first painting was achieved by focusing on the negative space and using soft strokes to build the brick. The 2nd photo was achieved using values of blue and black to create the brink with imagionary lines of where the brink 's surface changes. i think they turned out well
