Water Color + Ink Drawing

The 2 pieces above were the 2 that I think worked out the best with water color first then ink drawing on top. I prefer this method more than vice-versa because it allows the painter to recreate the subject matter without having to worry as much as much about the water color getting too loose and wild to the point of your subject being unrecognizable. Also with the ink drawing after the pain has dried, gives the painter more control over any problem areas that may have gotten to blurry r messy because of an excess of water ( which happens to me a lot with the use of water colors). In the future though I ned to use a larger variety of line widths to create more depth beyond water colors.
