Family Member Memory portrait

Above is the condensed process of the memory portrait project. the top image is 3 of the 5 variations of a family member that had to be done from memory with no photo reference. I scanned in these 3 because the other 2 didnt look anything like my mother and would be disrespectful to post them looking the way they do, she would probably be mad 2 see what i thought she looked like without seeing a picture. Rusty picked the middle picture and it went onto the final process onto the 8x10 illustration board, the media used being guoache  paint. i think the final product turned out pretty well but may have done better if i would have included a line outline with pen ink. but its still my momma ; )
