I initially chose this magazine spread to recreate because I thought it would be pretty simple, but after rebuilding it from scratch I see how much goes into creating a layout. The layout consist of 2 seperate pages that fuse into 1 big page. The first page consist of a large photograph with a noted actress as the model with a wall background and light text above her. I had to recreate the wall background because I didnt want to take the easy way out of using the entire scaneed page and jus using a clone stamp in photoshop to erase the text. I think the wall turned out pretty well with the added shadow. There was also a small graphic in the corner that had t be added, not too much work.
The second page was a bit more of a challenge. I had to cut out 3 different pictures for the 3 main divisions of the page and surround each picture with the orange and black bar graphics. But after the pictures were scaled and put into place everything else was like a pre-school puzzle fresh out of the box.
